We specialize in treating rheumatic disorders including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Vasculitis, Sjogrens Syndrome, Scleroderma, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Gout, and many other illnesses as well.

A Day in the life of a Rheumatology APP
Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
- Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans
- Oversee patients overall health
- Promote good health practices
- Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
- Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician
Requirements:
- New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine preferred
- Travel to two offices: Decatur & Fort Worth
- Fluent in Spanish and English a plus
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent and timely communication skills - verbal, and written
- Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
- Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
- Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
- Valid Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant & DEA license
