**Experience:**
- Physical Therapist 1: Preferred one or two years of experience; open to new graduates.
- Physical Therapist 2: Minimum of 5 years of experience with certification of advanced clinical competency.
- Physical Therapist 3: Minimum of 10 years of experience with certification of advanced clinical competency.
**License:** Current Physical Therapy license (or obtain prior to hire date)
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS)
**Must-Have:**
- Degree from an accredited university recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
**Job Description:**
- Provide evaluation and treatment for hospital inpatients in acute care, outpatients, and residents of the hospital long-term care unit, according to the professional standards of the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Deliver evidence-based, optimum patient care as a top priority.
- Provide treatment by referral from physicians and work under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation.
- Assist in the supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants or Aides, Long Term Care Restorative Aides, and volunteers or students.
- Interact daily with the public, other employees, patients and families, and physicians while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Responsible for the clinical direction and development of one of the Rehab Department subspecialties, depending on classification level.
- Certified in one or two subspecialties, depending on classification level.
