Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, assist with health assessments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and provide nursing care
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Discharge planning
- Sonography
- Cardiac catheterization
- Basic life support (BLS)
- Patient assessment
- Family planning
- Ability to lift patients when necessary
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
- Phlebotomy skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation
