DEPARTMENT: Clinic Services

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

A nonexempt position that provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices and works closely with physician to ensure quality care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepares equipment and aids Physician during examination, treatment and testing of patients.
Observes, records and reports patient’s condition and reaction to treatments, drug testing to providers.
Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
Documents test results, phone calls, & patient education in accordance with nursing and organization standards.
Orders medications as prescribed by provider.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Other duties as assigned by supervision.

PAY RANGE: $25-$48 (dependent upon experience and education)

Education: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited CMA, LPN or RN program.

Certificate/License: Possession of current CMA, Alaska State LPN or Registered Nurse license, and current CPR certification. Current ACLS certification preferred.
