Join our team at PMC Medical Group as a New Patient Coordinator, a hybrid role based in Somersworth, NH.
This role begins with 32 hours per week and will transition to 40 hours as training advances.
Hourly Range: $18-$20 based on experience and relevant qualifications
Requirements:
Prior experience in healthcare, particularly patient coordination.
Prior experience with insurance eligibility and benefit verification.***
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
Compassion and empathy for patients.
Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with insurance verification and medical terminology.
Background in medical office administration.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage tasks independently.
Responsibilities:
Manage new patient intake, insurance verification, and referral compliance.
Verify insurance details, ensuring compliance with policy requirements.
Handle medical record management while adhering to HIPAA & 42-CFR requirements.
Patient communication regarding appointments and procedures.
