*Description:*

*Primary duties:* Some of the medical assistant duties would be rooming patients and completing intake (reason for visit, confirming medications they might be taking), taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, height), doing EKG’s and calling in prescriptions.

Some of the receptionist duties would be checking patient in through our EMR (Cerner), checking patient insurance eligibility, answering phone calls, sending messages to providers and staff, addressing messages received from providers and staff and scheduling appointments for patients.

*Required Certifications/Licenses:*

· High School Diploma/GED, Medical Assistant Certificate or Medical Assistant Diploma required.

· Updated resume.

· BLS/CPR Card required.

· Covid-19 vaccination card required.

· Two Professional references (Manager or supervisor) required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
* 5x8
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

* Vital signs: 1 year (Required)
