Are you looking to further your career in trade shows and events?


Nimlok Chicago is currently seeking a motivated, self-starting professional to fill the Exhibit Builder position.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist with building, repairing, and maintaining exhibit structures in compliance with their design specifications and guidelines. You will also assist with managing product storage, shipping, and receiving for our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Complete set up of all exhibit materials – hardware, graphics, accessories, etc.
  • Complete accurate packing of all exhibit materials - hardware, graphics, accessories, etc.
  • Preparing booth for shipping, removing old labels, affixing new labels, skidding, etc.
  • Coordinating shipping when scheduled.
  • Complete a thorough inspection upon return from show - includes all materials, booth, graphics, accessories, computer monitors, etc.
  • Repair, fix, clean, etc. as directed.
  • Accurately track all exhibit materials.
  • Follow up on all shipments that are overdue for return.
  • Keep log of all in/out activities for each client.
  • Maintain client storage books with accurate information.
  • Keep racks and aisles clearly marked and organized.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of warehouse.
  • Ship, receive, and log all properties entering and leaving facility.
  • Mark all shipping forms and product with appropriate job numbers.
  • Distribute received materials accordingly.
  • Perform exhibit build demonstrations for client training purposes.
  • Photograph exhibit properties and upload into appropriate space.


Requirements

  • Tradeshow experience is a plus.
  • Travel will be required occasionally.
  • Strong communication skills. Articulate with verbal and written communications.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work as both part of a team and independently. Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude required.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and meet specific, hard deadlines.
