Job Title: Export Classification Specialist

Scope:

Assign ECCN classification for Business units and products assigned

Overflow and back-up ECCN classification support for the Export Compliance Team as needed

Preparing draft CCATS submissions

Responding to various ad hoc questions and issues from BUs regarding ECCN classification and processes


Required Skills :

At least 5 years export classification experience

Excel

General computer skills

5+ years’ experience in export compliance, sanctions compliance, and/or restricted party screening

Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Results oriented.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to make well-thought through decisions in a timely way.

Strong English reading, writing and analytical skills


Highly preferred skills & experience

Export classification experience in Categories 3,4 and/or 5 of the U.S. Commerce Control List (CCL)

GTS/SAP experience

Strong trade technical knowledge of US export control laws, regulations with analytical, and organizational skills.

Strong knowledge of export regulations and export classification mechanisms.

Encryption

Background in semiconductor or related industry


Job Qualifications:

5+ years in Trade Compliance

5+ years experience in export classification

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; Master’s degree preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong trade technical knowledge of US export control laws, regulations with analytical, and organizational skills.

Technical experience in classifying items for export under the CCL
