Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Healthcare Staffing Recruiter with a proven track record of success in the healthcare industry. With at least five years of experience, the ideal candidate will lead the full recruitment cycle, build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and clients, and contribute to the strategic growth of our company. This is a full-time hybrid role and while the role is based in State College, PA, remote work is also acceptable.


Key Responsibilities include oversight of a Recruiting Team:

Full-Cycle Recruitment:

  • Source, screen, and interview healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and allied health staff.
  • Match qualified candidates to client job openings, ensuring optimal placement.
  • Manage offer negotiations, background checks, and onboarding processes.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities to understand staffing needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and candidates, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
  • Build long-term relationships to maintain and expand client accounts.


Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Develop innovative sourcing techniques through job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Maintain a robust talent pipeline of healthcare professionals for current and future needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.


Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance and training to junior recruiters to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Share best practices to improve team efficiency and recruitment outcomes.


Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, placement success rates, and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership regarding recruitment activities and outcomes.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of healthcare staffing or recruitment experience, with a strong understanding of healthcare roles, credentialing, and compliance standards.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).


Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Deep knowledge of healthcare staffing needs, licensing, and certifications (e.g., Joint Commission standards).
