Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Ethernet networks, IP addressing, wiring, and cable patching.
  • Detailed understanding of PLCs, including PLC5SLC500, Compact/Contrologix.
  • Strong familiarity with Factory TalkView Studio, RSLogix500, Studio 500 Professional, and Panel View 32.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in mathematical calculations and problem-solving.
  • Compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA rules, and ability to obtain a forklift license.
  • Capable of lifting up to ninety (90) pounds.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain control networks, including ladder logic programming and plant software.
  • Calibrate and upkeep electronic measuring instruments and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain detailed mapping of Ethernet networks and manage PLC Logic revisions.
  • Utilize software tools to optimize control systems throughout the plant.
  • Ensure seamless integration of IT and OT systems.
  • Edit and write ladder logic programming to enhance plant processes.
  • Perform repairs and installations of plant equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components.
  • Interpret schematic drawings and diagrams for maintenance and installations.
  • Conduct advanced electrician duties, such as voltage checks and troubleshooting of PLC modules.
  • Participate in training to enhance job-related skills.
  • Adhere to USDA regulations, company policies, and established procedures.
  • Perform PM inspections on control components.
  • Conduct frequency drive setups, HMI application creation, PLC programming, and Ethernet protocol routing.
