As Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationship to thrive business growth and success. Your role will encompass various aspects of business development, current business management, logistic support and back-office coordination.


Responsibilities

  • Operate as the primary point of contact for customers, maintain good relationship and understand real needs of customer and voice it internally in the company.
  • Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Prepare and guarantee monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and verify part pricing quarterly.
  • Responsible for the new tool request process & follow up with respective systems of the customer.
  • Responsible for to maintain all NDA’s, customer agreements, RFQ list etc.
  • Responsible to make quotations for new projects for all internal and external process.
  • Responsible for supplier negotiations, Scope of work creation, new supplier launches, General Purchasing agreements, monitoring project timelines.
  • Manage wide range of projects from newly awarded business, machine installation and existing tooling/equipment refurbishment purchase until PPAP approval using tools like Microsoft project, excel, etc..
  • Establishes project specifications and timelines by studying product design, customer requirements & internal teams workload.
  • Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project oversight, and report regularly to plant manager to keep him/her constantly informed of project progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules.
  • Work in close proximity to Accounting team to verify the payment schedule and assist them to close any open topics with customers in case of need.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Responsible for identification of continuous improvement projects internal to organization and make plans to execute to support for the business.
  • Ensure all customer requests and deadlines are met, should create scope of urgency in situation with importance to customers.
  • Support team to prepare Process Flow, PFMEA and control plan for all the new project.
  • Support team to ensure PPAP submission and approval for all the assigned projects within the deadline.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical engineering or Business Administration or related field of study.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, project etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Critical thinking and strong passion achieving concrete results.
