We are recruiting full-time Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a major manufacturer located in Clarksville, TN - $3,000 relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates willing to relocate to Tennessee. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Industrial Maintenance Technician position below are strongly encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance duties safely, professionally, and to standard while following all company and regulatory safe work and housekeeping practices
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement programs
  • Develop and maintain a partnership approach to operations, quality, and health and safety
  • Maintain knowledge of the machines and remain up-to-date on predictive and preventive maintenance guidelines
  • Diagnose problems with existing equipment/machinery
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all manners of electrical components
  • Use of computer systems to perform diagnostics on electrical components and programmable logic controllers
  • Perform work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications
  • Inspect, clean, replace, and repair machines, motors, and other electrical components
  • Maintain wiring systems; bend conduit and replace old wiring
  • Replace guards, covers, and close control cabinets after work is completed
  • Perform welding and fabrication as required
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of various machine operations and production roles
  • Proficient with reading mechanical/electrical print
