H&P is representing a fast-growing real estate private equity firm in Miami with the expansion of their team. The group focuses on opportunistic investments in residential and commercial assets across the United States through a wide variety of strategies.


Position Overview:

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate to join their team in Miami. The Associate will play a critical role in asset management and fund management, supporting their investment strategies and contributing to the overall success of their portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:


Asset Management:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of existing real estate assets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset value and optimize returns.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors.


Fund Management:

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly fund reports and investor communications.
  • Collaborate with senior management on fund performance analysis and investment strategies.
  • Support fundraising efforts through market research and due diligence on potential investors.


Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and investment opportunities within the real estate sector.
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions and development projects, providing financial modeling and risk assessments.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with external partners, including property managers, brokers, and financial advisors, to ensure successful execution of investment strategies.
  • Assist in coordinating due diligence and closing processes for new acquisitions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in private equity, real estate investment, asset management, or FP&A.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
