Successful Insurance Service Coordinators are deadline driven, process focused, and have a strong desire to learn the specialty insurance business and apply that knowledge for the success of the enterprise.



Essential Functions

  • Perform a required high volume of insurance-related tasks within required timeframes to meet assigned deadline
  • Collaborate with Underwriting team using problem-solving service capacit
  • Adapt to change; respond to customers and internal business partners with a sense of urgenc
  • Completion of policy verification, updating changes, monthly renewal set-up, creating policies, and Acord form creation


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of Underwriting; Conceptual knowledge of Property Casualty Insurance Operation
  • Process driven; policy verification, updating changes, monthly renewals set-up, creating policies, and Acord form creatio
  • Strong Computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit
  • Critical thinking and problem solving; Analytical abilit
  • Customer focus with a service mindse
  • Detail oriented; delivers work on-tim
  • Self- starter; quick learner, organize
  • Team oriented; creates positive working relationship


Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


Preferred

  • 3-5 years in Customer Service role within property and casualty insurance company, agency, or brokerage
  • Producer's License


Work environment & Physical Demands

  • Inside climate-controlled office building
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
