Four Hands is one of the largest home furnishing distributors in Austin, TX. We operate out of seven locations with nearly 1,000,000 sqft of warehouse space. A role in our distribution center means being in the heart of getting products to our customers as quickly as possible.
The warehouse CDL Driver plays a vital role in our team, ensuring exceptional service and support for both our internal team and valued customers. From warehouse operations to delivering top-notch service, this position is key to our success.

Start time: 5pm
In This Role
  • Safely operate trucks and trailers to designated destinations, ensuring timely delivery while prioritizing safety and careful handling 
  • Inspect trucks and trailers for defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips 
  • Submit written reports on the truck's condition at the start and end of each shift
  • Operate commercial vehicles in challenging conditions, including heavy traffic and adverse weather
  • Provide exceptional customer service to external clients and internal teams 
  •  Ensure paperwork is accurate and completed promptly
  • Maintain the trucks, ensuring it is in safe working order and that routine maintenance is performed on time
  • Comply with all Federal, State and local laws regulating safe driving and operating of a commercial vehicle 
  • Load and unload containers and trucks
  • Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team 
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

The Ideal Person
  • 2+ years commercial driving experience required
  • A Valid Class A Driver’s License required
  • Forklift operator experience is required
  • Must pass the Company’s MVR policy
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. and standing/lifting for up to 8 hours 
  • Able to read maps, road signs and shipping receipts
  • Exceptional communication  and time management skills
