Location: Athens, TX
Shift: 8 HR Days, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Shifts Per Week: 5
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $25 - $37.98 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for the day shift. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate results, and providing exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to achieve the desired imaging results.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of radiologic equipment.
- Follow safety protocols, including infection control and radiation protection measures.
- Accurately document imaging results in the patient's records.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in diagnostic assessments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with departmental policies.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed to practice Radiologic Technology in the State of Texas.
- CPR Certified (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
Qualifications:
- Experience in radiologic technology or related medical imaging fields.
- Knowledge of various imaging equipment and techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and healthcare teams.
