A day in the life.

As Director, Institutional Retirement Plan Consulting , you will support the growth of the firm’s institutional consulting efforts while providing investment fiduciary advice to Plan Sponsors. You will manage both existing client base and prospects which are converted to new clients on an on-going basis. You will assume a consultative role focused on understanding and responding to client needs; anticipate issues and proactively provide solutions and be responsible for the preparation, deliverance and follow through from client meetings conducted either in person or via conference call as well as provide participant education support as needed. You will support the growth of the firm’s institutional consulting efforts by developing new business opportunities including management of firm-wide prospecting efforts (Social Media, Drip Campaigns, Sales Pipeline), and develop the firm’s brand awareness through speaking events and centers of influence development.

Bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience required A student of the industry with demonstrated confidence of topical knowledge; willingness to stay abreast of current market, industry and legislative issues & trends Experience successfully managing and cultivating business relationships with clients Ability to generate additional revenue opportunities Series 65 or 66 registration required.  Industry designations such as AIF, CPFA, and Series 7 / 66 registrations preferred, along with a Life and Health insurance license. Extensive experience with (b) plans preferred
