Summary of Role:

Field-based role responsible for providing US coverage, coding, and payment expertise to support the Lantheus Holdings portfolio regional commercial and medical teams. The individual in this role will have responsibility for implementation of brand reimbursement strategies, achieving and maintaining positive payer coverage policies for key products, and educating key customers on payer coverage, coding and payment policies affecting the Lantheus portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in achieving positive medical policies, educating and developing customer relationships, working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, and working with different payer types to facilitate appropriate access. 

Essential Functions:

This position will report to the Director, Market Access Field Team East region. Achieve positive medical coverage policies for key products across payer types. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key commercial and government payer organizations. Provide expertise on coding, coverage, and reimbursement/payment mechanisms to Sales, Marketing, and other functional areas to ensure key reimbursement information is incorporated into business strategy. Identify, develop, and execute business opportunities by focusing on appropriate positioning and messaging of Lantheus products within targeted payer and customer segments. Ability to clearly articulate value proposition of Lantheus products and possess strong clinical acumen that can be delivered in a compelling manner that ensures optimal access. Manage and coordinate resolution of reimbursement issues by collaborating with internal teams and prescribing office, imaging centers, and hospitals. Build sustainable collaborations for health systems against shared priorities/common interests to deliver long-term value and drive portfolio growth through strategies designed to maintain or improve brand formulary access. Work with customers to ensure medical policies are scientifically current and ensure coverage policies are in alignment with brand strategies. Collaborate with evidence generation leaders to provide guidance on evidence generation requirements to support US coding, reimbursement, and payment for new and existing products. Collaborate and coordinate across functions (Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs) to achieve business goals.

Minimum Skills, Experience & Education:

BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; advance degree strongly preferred. 5+ years of coverage, coding, payment, and policy work with established relationship with key payer organizations (both commercial and Medicare) in geographic area. Preferred experience specifically in radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics Demonstrates a solid understanding of the US payer market, experience with both commercial and public payers and understand the decision-making process for new treatments and imaging agents within the payer community. Ability to thrive in a cross-functional working environment. Successful decision-making, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated track record of strategic impact in defining and executing complex customer experience roadmaps while driving for innovative results. Demonstrated ability to develop credible relationships at high levels within accounts. Possesses strong business acumen negotiation and presentation skills. Superb written and verbal communication skills Field-based role; must be a self-starter with ability to work independently and organize own work without continuous direct supervision. Ability to travel (60% +)
