About You

This person will set up, modify and maintain all robotic automation cells for Production. You will also perform all necessary equipment changeovers as required by production planning to assist Process Engineering with equipment modifications and projects

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of automation equipment (i.e. 6-axis robots, support equipment,End-of-Arm Tooling, pad printers, part feeding systems, vision inspection systems, etc.). Performs automated equipment changeover procedures and make adjustments as required to maximize equipment performance. Performs Fanuc robot program position touchups and minor program modifications (Fanuc IR Vision and Keyence Vision Systems) to maximize equipment performance. Performs basic troubleshooting on electromechanical and pneumatic equipment. Responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and modifying the robotics End-of-Arm Tooling used to handle parts. Completes daily report detailing any significant issues relating to equipment performance. Completes or generates required paperwork to record set up procedures, settings, etc. Handling equipment; occasionally loads or unloads parts manually. Verifies components versus BOM for job order. Performs start up and in process quality checks on finished parts and records results in QM3. Assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.

Specifications:

Associates Degree in mechanical / electrical technology preferred. 1+ years of related experience and/or training preferred. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point & Office. Working knowledge of electromechanical and pneumatic systems.
