Cafe Attendant

We are looking for friendly, positive, service-oriented, highly energetic, and self-motivated Barista/Café/Market Attendants to join our team. These individuals will prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. They will work closely with the hotel's Food & Beverage Team. This position's primary function is to serve quality products to customers in a friendly and professional manner while adhering to the standards set by Hilton Brand Hotels. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should be able to work various shifts. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent experience for our guests.
Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/WaitressHands-on experience with brewing equipmentKnowledge of sanitation regulationsFlexibility to work various shiftsBasic math skillsAbility to gauge customers’ preferencesExcellent communication skillsHigh school diploma; relevant training is a plusCafé is open from 6 am to 6 pm, seven days a week. We are currently looking to fill two part-time openings. Candidates should be able to work during posted café hours including weekends and holidays.
Experience: Food Service: 1 year (Preferred)Barista: 1 year (Preferred)Greet customers as they enterTake orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios)Prepare beverages following the recipesServe beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries, and muffinsReceive and process payments (cash and credit cards)Keep the cafe area cleanMaintain stock of clean suppliesCheck if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needsComply with health and safety regulationsCommunicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items-
