HDR is currently seeking a Collaborative Delivery Leader within the Water Business Group. The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of our Water Business Group alternative delivery program. This position will collaborate with and leverage HDR staff across the company and teaming partners to develop solutions for our clients. The primary duties of this position include pursuing, planning, managing, and delivering all aspects of water alternative delivery projects.

Primary responsibilities include:

Collaborate with HDR operations leaders, market sector directors, project managers, commercial managers, and project teams to deliver world class quality in owner advisor services, design services and construction services for alternative delivery projects. Actively engage with the local project teams and assist in Go/No-Go discussions, project risk assessments, SOQs, proposals, interviews, and negotiations as required. Participate in client relationship management, client presentations, conference presentations, and interviews. Lead relationship development and teaming agreement negotiations with Design-Build (DB) and Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) contractor partners. Participate in scope, schedule, and budget development for alternative delivery projects. Provide DB and CMAR best practice guidance to pursuit and delivery teams. Provide project delivery support including contract administration and management, design consultant agreements, and other subcontracts; and for planning and executing the constructed project. Actively participate in the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). Mentor and develop other employees. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or similar combination of relevant education and experience. 15+ years of water/wastewater experience, including prior alternative delivery experience. Strong leadership skills and project management experience with multiple national remote teams is preferred. Understands contractual risk and mitigation strategies in alternative delivery models. Proven experience managing projects, client relationships, proposal development, and business development.  Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills. Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skills. An attitude and commitment to be an active participant of our employee-owned culture. Proficient with Microsoft Office and conferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.). Position requires significant travel. Professional Engineer licensure or DBIA certification is preferred.  An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field 10 years related experience A minimum of 5 years of project management experience Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak preferred), project management software (Prolog preferred) Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
