Seeking a Dental Assistant in Independence, OH

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and provide top-notch care for our patients. In this role, you will be working closely with patients, promoting oral health and assisting the Doctor. You'll play a vital role in supporting our dentist by identifying oral health concerns and assisting with dental emergencies. If you have a strong attention to detail, a steady hand, and excellent interpersonal skills, we want to meet you

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, Two Friday’s a Month)

Compensation:

Salary negotiable based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease before their procedures.
  • Current radiography certification required
  • Update and maintain client’s dental records
  • Perform routine Coronal Polishing and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
  • Capture X-rays of patients
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Take billing and insurance details from patients
  • Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
  • Strong initiative
  • Professionalism in all aspects of job
  • Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • In-depth knowledge of dental health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Familiarity with dental equipment preparation and maintenance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients of all ages.
  • Friendly, patient-oriented, and detail-focused.
  • Valid state license to capture dental x-rays.
