GPAC is looking for a talented Estimator to join a Heavy Civil team in Branford, CT
You MUST have experience estimating in a Heavy & Civil or Marine construction field in order to be considered for this job
Estimator Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Heavy Civil/Marine estimator
- 3+ years as a Super, PM, or Foreman
- Willing to work on site in Branford, CT
- Computer literacy
- Engineering background would be preferred
This position will consist of taking off work from plans and estimating projects, doing prequalification submittals, schedules and other submittals required for bidding. It will also include researching projects out for bid. The work performed includes pile driving, concrete, site work, deep excavations, DOT, utilities, sewer and water supply, underground electrical duct banks, large vault and substation work. On the marine side, it will include docks, sheet piling, pile driving, stone breakwaters and revetments, etc. Also some millwrighting and rigging work including moveable bridge repairs, and power plant work. You don't need experience in all of these fields, just Heavy Civil construction experience
