Job Description

Job Title:

Automotive Advisor & Parts Specialist

Location:

6481 Mills Drive, Whitestown, IN 46075

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Advisor & Parts Specialist who is energetic, upbeat and has a positive attitude. 

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Receiving parts for vehicles that are in the process
  • Entering parts information into work orders
  • Managing in-house parts inventory
  • Assist with building tickets and additional service advisor duties
  • Initiating and documenting parts returns
  • Initiating and following up on warranty claims with vendors
  • Move vehicles from intake spots to stage for the next step in the process
  • Perform customer follow up calls
  • Shuttle customers
  • Various other administrative tasks and light janitorial duties as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Driving record must be acceptable to our insurance carrier.
  • Prior computer and customer service experience required.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.
  • High school education is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and a desire and ability to work with the public.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.
  • Previous experience as a counter person at an auto parts store is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair.
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools.
  • Walk/stand for the majority of their workday.
  • Drive manual transmissions vehicles.
  • Efficiently navigate a computer.
