POSITION: Adjunct Faculty Instructor – Bachelor of Science in Leadership & Organizational Management with Aviation Concentration
QUALIFICATIONS: A master’s degree or above in a related field is preferred; outstanding relevant professional experience may substitute for a graduate degree. Experience as a Captain in 14 CFR part 121 flight operations is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member in the Leadership & Organizational Management with Aviation Concentration program. This is contracted on a term-by-term basis, teaching a course load not to exceed 17 semester hours per calendar year, and including the following duties:
- Develop and manage course content.
- Coordinate courseware and curriculum with the Director of Aviation.
- Perform in-person and, when necessary, online instruction.
- Evaluate student performance.
- Follow the academic calendar and other University policies and procedures.
- Participate in faculty development events.
POSITION DETAILS: Faculty are contracted per course. Salary is determined by degree level held.
APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall 2024 Term. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
