Work closely under project managers to produce commercial site plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Sub Division design
Visit job site to ensure construction matches design, and consult with clients.
Could be working on 5 projects at a time, projects typically last 1-2 weeks. Would be shuffling multiple projects which are in different phases.
Some client interaction but would work with city and government organizations to get information important for design.
Involved in process from the initial surveying to final stages of permitting. This could take 2-3 months for small projects and 4-5 months for large project completion.
Skills:
Civil engineering, Civil 3d Site development Stormwater EIT Professional engineer Civil design Drainage Grading Land developmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or similar field
1+ years of design experience in commercial land development or site design
Communication with clients, colleagues and fellow employees/employer
Drainage calculations and detention calculations.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Site plan design, storm water management plans
Understand contours, grading plans, etc.
