HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Up to $16.75/hour
1st shift weekday position immediately available in Hebron, KY Distribution Center. Hours of operation are 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
The Production Associate - Shared Services will have the opportunity to train and work in multiple departments within the CDC Warehouse – Kaumograph (Heat Press Machine), Quality, Home Retail and Samples. Each associate will be assigned to a primary or “base” department but will be trained and rotate through each department periodically.
Kaumograph (Heat Press Machine)Department Rotation:
Complete Set-up Process/Daily Duties.
Perform Audit Process for each carton - identifying carton label, verifying correct product and kaumograph.
Following Proper Process Flow - Accurately apply kaumograph (heat transferred decal) as directed - using required "Standard" or "Reference" Placement.
QA Department Rotation:
Perform inspections on textile products to identify defects at different request.
Collect all required information, (data number, lot number, quantities and results) for each inspection and complete QA Inspection - categorizing each level: Plus, 1st, 2nds and 3rds.
Proficient use of all inspection tools and resources (PDM guides, measuring tapes, defect gauges, etc.).
Home Department Rotation:
Create packaged product/sets for multiple retail customers/channels - completing all daily packaging reports.
Follow procedure for accurate assembly of each set/package to include correct product, set configuration, marketing material, required labeling and all packaging material for each part, kit, and pallet.
Monitor and maintain marketing and packaging supplies and notify supervisor of anticipated replenishment needs.
Samples Department Rotation:
Identify and pull product for shipment.
Accurately package shipments for each Standard Textile Division (Healthcare, Hospitality & Mascioni), per each division's requirements and standards.
Learn and perform domestic and over time, international, shipments utilizing computer shipping database/s. Prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Key Accountabilities:
Work collaboratively with teammates to facilitate completion of work.
Maintain a safe, clean workstation and department.
Adhere to all STC/CDC Company safety, conduct and attendance policies.
Promote and exhibit One Standard behaviors.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
Required
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous Quality, Packaging, Inspection, and/or assembly.
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs. and stand in one place for prolonged periods of time over an 8-hour shift.
Preferred
Experience in textiles or packaging a plus.
Experience with Computer Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Ability to be successful in a fast-moving environment.
Comfortable with rapidly changing priorities and shifting projects.
