Position Title: Project Coordinator

Project Details:
This team is focused on putting together proposals for transmission related projects. The focus would be anything within inland related transmission projects and offshore wind projects. This person will be supporting the manager in putting together the cost estimate and coordinating the project schedule build up given the existence of various components. As such, key functions will be to facilitate collaboration of building up the estimate and schedule by scheduling meetings, developing meeting minutes, and tracking action items. Additionally, checking the estimates to ensure the latest data is used and for errors within excel computed formulas/reports.

Must Have Skills

2-3+ years of experience working with project coordination/estimating or process management Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Pro Financial budgeting experience / materials reporting Ability to support the manager in putting together cost estimates and coordinating the project schedule build up Basic knowledge and experience with google earth

Nice-to-Have skills

Experience with P6 Scheduler Background in utilities industry –specifically transmission and/or substation

Education:

Bachelors Degree within Engineering

Day to Day responsibilities:

Support the development of technical scope of work documents, estimates and schedule. Support the planning, monitoring and implementation of these tasks. Track and maintain associated tasks to ensure they are off high quality and on schedule. Consult with team members to ensure they are able to meet all milestones. Take responsibility for assigned tasks from beginning to end. Ensure active communication by providing meeting minutes and updates for assigned tasks.

This person will be supporting the coordination effort in terms of developing scopes of work, cost estimates, gathering schedules, etc. They will need support in developing minutes, scheduling meetings and putting together weekly or bi-weekly project updates. They will be working alongside the project controls individual who will be using P6 to develop the schedule.
