Travel Administrator

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a temporary Travel Administrator.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Travel Administrator will facilitate the scheduling of travel and hotel accommodations, rental cars, and other related services. They will negotiate travel arrangements that ensure comfort, safety and efficiency for travelers while maximizing discounts and minimizing costs. They will advise staff on travel requirements, including medical, visa, and other special conditions related to the travel.

The ideal candidate will be self-starter and can work autonomously as necessary. They will assist with reservation booking via online booking tool and/or GDS as well as other similar business travel activities. This candidate must have a working knowledge of team function within the organization.

The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge in their discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. They solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions, works independently and receives minimal guidance. They may lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience in their field.

Required Education/Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in the travel industry. Ability to work autonomously when necessary
