Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job description:
  • Focus on: Employee processes, procedures, handbook, recruiting, safety administration, and training administration.
  • Conducts recruitment efforts and advises managers on candidate selection, oversees new employee orientation, and suggests process improvements.
  • Handles employee relations, coaching managers, resolving grievances, and providing counseling to both employees and managers.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing federal and state employment laws and safety regulations.
  • Manages accurate records for HR, Payroll, OSHA/Safety, SDS, and Training in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Maintains confidentiality to protect HR and Payroll operations, while also providing employees with information on policies, working conditions, wages, and benefits.
  • Administers employee benefits, develops relationships with providers, and oversees special projects such as employee activities and awards.
  • Develops and implements safety programs, policies, processes, and training materials, including accident investigations and injury trend analysis.
  • Assists the Director of OD in identifying core competencies, assessing training needs, and developing training materials, while also serving as backup for front desk support.

Requirements:
  • Must have (2) years as a recent Human Resources Generalist.
  • Experienced with employee relations and recruitment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background check required.
  • Drug screening required.
  • Credit check required.

What does success look like?
30 days – Operating on your own, building trust and rapport of fellow employees.  Understanding the business.
90 days – Handle recruitment for entry level positions.  Understand how to connect and build rapport with employees.  Dynamic and integrated part of the human resources team.
