Spring/Preseason Duties (March - June):
Organize and conduct cheer tryoutsLead two to three weekly two-hour practices to prepare for cheer camp and football seasonHold a Spring Cheer parent meeting detailing the upcoming cheer events of spring seasonOrganize the Middle School Cheer pep-squad campConduct a cheer uniform fitting with the Varsity Spirit RepresentativeHold a one-day/multi-day two-hour cheer prep camp the week of NCA cheer campAttend a four-day NCA or UCA overnight camp in DFW Communicate with the Booster Club President Organize the following Spring fundraisersFall/Football Season Duties (August - November):
Lead two to three weekly two-and-a-half-hour practices Plan, organize, and lead the following aspects of school pep rallies: Attend all (five) home football games (6 PM-Fridays) and all (five) home volleyball games (date and times vary throughout the week)Attend & organize the cheerleader's part in the following school events that the varsity cheerleaders participate inHire a choreographer to create a competitive cheer routine for the Texas Charter School Athletic & Academic League Cheer Competition Organize the following Fall fundraisersWinter/Basketball Season Duties (December - January):

Continuous communication with the athletic director & Griffins Athletic Booster ClubSet up and manage the Game Changer App and Game Changer event calendar (contains weekly practices, games, events, etc.)Create & monitor monthly team socials sign-up geniusOpen and continuous parent communication Monitor and manage cheer budget & expenses Organize Cheer parties/social events with varsity team moms Organize & manage additional cheer fundraisers other than those stated above.
