What We Are Looking For
The Laboratory Technician will aide the Chemistry & Biochemistry department at Baylor University with various tasks to increase efficiency in the lab.
A Bachelor’s degree and an active Christian faith is required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Provide research support for the assigned project area Assist in carrying out experiments and purifying materials Perform material analyses Maintain an accurate and detailed accounting of work within a laboratory notebook Assist in completing progress documents and reports Follow rules and regulations regarding lab safety and research protocols Analyze and prepare reports for laboratory management Perform quality control testing on lab samples, ingredients, products and equipment Ensure research equipment maintenance Participate in required safety training Assist in management of inventory and supplies Ability to comply with University policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's missionWhat You Can Expect
