Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to, managing the full-cycle recruitment process for all open positions; coordinating and conducting a thorough orientation for new team members  One of your primary focuses will be active, ongoing recruitment of employees – experience utilizing social media and professional networking to fill open positions will give you a head start in this role


The ideal candidate will:

  • Be committed to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork and integrity), and have a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or other related field
  • Have at least one years experience in a human resources role, with duties that include recruiting, onboarding, and administrative hiring.
  • Have a working knowledge of Employment Standards and other employment laws
  • Understand the importance of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
