Join our team at Children’s Mercy - Camber Olathe Hospital as the Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) starting no earlier than July 1, 2024. The ADON collaborates with hospital leadership to enhance programs and acts as a liaison between various departments. Responsibilities include providing quality nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and establishing nursing standards compliant with regulatory guidelines.

Clinical Responsibilities:Coordinates patient transfers in compliance with EMTALA/COBRA lawsActs as liaison with contract pharmacyReviews clinical reports and oversees Infection Control Committee Attends various administrative and improvement committeesEnsures compliance with regulatory standards and requirementsSupports recruitment, retention, and recognition effortsServes as on-call Administrator and for nursing staff during emergenciesMonitors staff activities, assists in training, and performs unit duties as needed Supervisor Responsibilities:Oversees staff in-service training and documentationManages nursing appointments, disciplinary actions, and other HR mattersDirectly supervises nursing staff Ensures compliance with policies and lawsPlans work assignments, conducts performance appraisals, and resolves issuesUpholds organizational values and promotes teamworkIs fiscally responsible and supports best practices development with the leadership team.Join Us:
