Speech and Language Pathologist - Grades K-8

We are currently searching for a full-time PA Certified Speech and Language Pathologist to work with Grade K-8 students during the 2024-2025 school year. This is a 10-month position; work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.


Qualifications for this position include:

  • Current PDE Speech and Language Pathologist or Education Specialist Certificate required
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution required
  • Previous experience teaching in a K-8 classroom setting is highly desired
  • A flexible personality that demonstrates enthusiasm, celebrates success, and responds positively to adversity
  • An interpersonal skillset that fosters positive communication with students, staff, administration, and parents
  • A strong work ethic and an excellent attendance record

HOW TO APPLY

You will be required to upload the following in order to be considered for the position:

1- Copy of your PA State Police Criminal Record Clearance (Act 34)

2 - Copy of your DPW Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)

3 - Copy of your FBI Clearance Fingerprinting with the UEID # (Act 114)

4 - Completion of a Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)

5 - Completion of PDE Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification (Act 24)

6 - Copy of high school and/or college transcripts

7 - Three letters of professional reference

10 - Completion of Professional Ethics Training
