The Director of Content Review is responsible for identifying and convening qualified advisors from across the global Body of Christ. What You'll Do

Build strategic partnerships that result in the inclusion of content that meets the needs (geographic, demographic, topical, and theological) of diverse sets of people. Lead team to design and implement effective systems to appropriately evaluate content from a broad range of historic orthodox Christian traditions. Implement systems to gather input and wisdom from church leaders representing a spectrum of denominations and theological perspectives with respect. Develop clear systems and processes to facilitate approval of partnership content by volunteers and other review processes. Ensure consistency across past content standards and present standards. Evaluate and update written standards and guidelines as needed. Create a cadence and/or process for the evaluation of content quality. Identify and remove low-quality content from the YouVersion Platform as needed. Create and maintain community guidelines for content partner and church partners to post unreviewed content on their pages. Drive collaboration with Product teams, MarCom, and other related teams to equip the content partnership team with the best internal tools and processes that move toward automation and efficiency. Set marketing expectations with partners, including marketing within their network to grow user engagement within the Bible App. Ensure the growth and development of the Content Review volunteer managers, supporting them personally, professionally, and spiritually. Lead implementation of effective systems to appropriately onboard, train, oversee, and develop contractors and volunteers around the world for content review. Lead team and volunteers toward sustainability and health while ensuring high levels of performance.

Skills Needed to Succeed

Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation. Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes while maintaining and fostering partnerships. Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects. Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field preferred. 5+ years of related work experience.
