Job Overview

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations while driving sales and profitability. You'll lead your team by example, upholding company standards for service, product quality, and store appearance. From financial management to team leadership, the Store Manager plays a vital role in maintaining a productive and positive store environment.

Your primary focus will be to ensure that the store is running efficiently. This includes managing inventory, scheduling staff to meet business needs, and implementing profit plans that align with budget goals. You'll also handle cash management, oversee loss prevention practices, and ensure that the store is clean, well-merchandised, and visually appealing at all times. Additionally, you will manage sales promotions and product launches, making sure they are executed effectively.

Customer service is at the heart of the experience, and as Store Manager, you'll be the "owner" of the service initiative in your store. You'll proactively resolve customer issues, ensuring every guest has a positive and memorable experience. By modeling excellent service behaviors, you will inspire your team to deliver consistent, friendly, and efficient service, ensuring the store is adequately staffed at all times to meet customer demand.

Leadership and Team Development

In this role, you'll recruit, hire, and train team members who are aligned with the company's values and service standards. From onboarding new employees to providing continuous training, you'll ensure that your team is well-equipped to meet both their individual performance goals and overall store objectives. You'll also foster an environment that encourages team input and high morale, helping to build a cohesive and motivated workforce.

You'll provide coaching and regular performance evaluations, ensuring each team member has a clear path for development. Whether you're guiding new baristas or helping shift supervisors take on greater responsibility, your leadership will be key in building a successful team.

Product Knowledge and Quality Assurance

We take pride in the quality of our products, and as Store Manager, you will ensure that all recipes and procedures are followed, maintaining the highest product standards. You will educate your team on the different coffee and tea blends, regions, and brewing techniques, enabling them to deliver an informed and enriched experience for customers. Daily quality assurance checks will ensure that every drink and food item served meets the company's high standards.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have at least three years of retail management experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and Outlook. You'll need strong leadership skills, with a focus on customer service and team development. The ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, is required. Additionally, the position demands excellent problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and effective verbal and written communication in English.

Physical Requirements

The role requires frequent standing, use of hands, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. You'll also need to handle hot beverages, adjust to various lighting conditions, and complete tasks that involve both close and distant focus.
