PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Maintain quality standards to preserve the integrity of data and findings.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews and/or focus groups.
  • Coordinate with partner organizations to facilitate research studies actively underway.
  • Analyze data using various statistical methods.
  • Write reports to summarize data and the implications of the results.
  • Assist with grant development and submissions.
  • Contribute new ideas and approaches to help build the research department’s function and reach.
  • Conduct literature reviews and conduct research regarding best practices, standards and guidelines, innovative policies and approaches to community-based research.
  • Potential for occasional travel to research sites and partnership meetings throughout Massachusetts, New England and other national contexts as required by research funders or emerging project needs.

REQUIREMENTS: 
  • At least 2 years of qualitative research and/or direct experience with coordinating healthcare research projects.
  • Experience with DeDoose and other qualitative software.
  • Strong skills spreadsheet and database.
  • Lived experience with disability or demonstrated experience working around disability issues and intersectionality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and successfully manage multiple projects. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently. 
  • A collaborative spirit, the ability to see another’s point of view, empathy, and the ability to identify a path forward in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to lead and influence without authority. 
  • Ability to successfully develop and maintain strong working relationships with both cross-functional internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in relevant field a plus. 
  • Experience with community-based research is a plus.

This is a full time position that features hybrid/flexible work options,  3 weeks of paid vacation and 2 weeks of paid sick time per year and 13 paid holidays per year.
