Key Responsibilities of the Activities Manager:

 Programs, implements, and evaluates Camp Pronghorn programming and activity descriptions. Responsible for supervision of individuals assisting with activities or special event programs. Maintains accurate records, rosters, and waiver forms as appropriate Ensures applicable activities billing is handled appropriately. Responsible for the safety and well being of children participating in Camp Pronghorn activities. Responsible for the organization of Base Camp and adventures equipment room. Reports guest concerns, incidents, or suggestions for improvement to FOM. Sets up work stations with necessary supplies; maintain cleanliness throughout shift. Maintains organization & cleanliness of pool area, patio, and pool towels. Must maintain the privacy of all Pronghorn guests. Maintains grooming and uniform standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Manages workflow effectively and in an organized and timely manner. Maintains complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental policies. Must demonstrate a guest driven style of service with an upbeat, friendly sense of urgency in all interactions with the members and their guests. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests. Maintains positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager or Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications for the Activities Manager

Associates Degree and 1-2 years experience. Must be over 21 years of age. Must have Valid Oregon driving license. Must be CPR and First Aid Certified Knowledgeable and familiar with Montana attractions and recreational areas. Other Qualifications: Must possess patience and a sincere appreciation for children of all ages with ability to communicate ideas and suggestions in a variety of forms. Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, memos and email correspondence. Ability to write complex correspondence with staff and guests. Ability to effectively communicate information to both guests and staff of the resort.
