Phillips Staffing is looking for energetic individuals who are organized, multi-taskers within a medium to fast-paced environment for a sustainable, environment friendly company in Piedmont, SC

Responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain and trouble shoot operation of cast mold machines ensuring all design specifications are within tolerance to produce high quality product at the lowest cycle time with minimal scrap material
  • Mix materials, assemble mold parts for productions
  • Apply coolants or lubricants to molds and mold parts by verifying all pumps are circulating with water
  • Complete all mold changes in safe, quick and timely manner minimizing unnecessary down time (use mechanical lifts or buddy system as required)
  • Ensure all machine operator time cards and shift manufacturing data sheets are filled out daily, neatly and accurately
  • Liaising with previous and next lines of production work for continuous work flow
  • Inspection of dry products for imperfections
  • Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers
Other Duties:
  • Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
  • Identify, properly contain and label all scrap material for purging
  • Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with computer aided design and manufacturing software
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Good reading and writing comprehension skills
  • Strong manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness
  • Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift

Pay Rate: $18.50/Hour
