Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Regional Nurse to join our team. As a Regional Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care across multiple nursing home facilities within the region. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of clinical practice and compliance.

Regional Nurse Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support nursing operations across multiple facilities within the region, ensuring consistency in clinical care and adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of care, staff performance, and resident satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Directors of Nursing and clinical staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
  • Collaborate with facility administrators to implement quality improvement initiatives and address any areas of concern.
  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, conducting audits and ensuring corrective actions are taken as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance resident care and safety.
  • Support facilities in preparing for and responding to state and federal surveys.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to ensure staff are up-to-date on clinical skills and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director of Operations to align nursing practices with overall facility goals.
  • Address any clinical issues or emergencies that arise within the region, providing hands-on support as needed.

Regional Nurse Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio; multi-state licensure is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
