Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Asset Management and Acquisition Associate to join our team at our corporate office in Buckhead, Atlanta. This role will play a pivotal part in our real estate portfolio management, deal underwriting, and strategic initiatives in capital markets. The ideal candidate will have an inquisitive mindset with a strong desire to change the status quo. Experience in an analytical role and familiarity with real estate investment principles is a plus; a passion for driving business growth and success are required.
Essential Job Functions
Conduct comprehensive asset management activities including performance analysis, financial reporting, and strategic planning for our real estate portfolio. Participate in the underwriting process for potential acquisitions, evaluating investment opportunities, and conducting due diligence to assess risks and opportunities. Analyze and compare asset performance within the company and across the industry, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommending strategies for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and drive profitability. Evaluate labor productivity and cost effectiveness, identifying areas for optimization and resource allocation. Prepare and review financial reports to provide insights into the financial health of assets and portfolio performance. Perform return on investment analyses for capital improvement projects Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to assist in assessing business risks and contingent capital planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, assess risks and opportunities, and recommend solutions. Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to support business strategies and benchmark performance metrics. Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior management. Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Detailed thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying opportunities, solving complex problems, and driving performance. Experience in asset management, real estate acquisitions, hospitality operations or related field is a plus.Benefits:
