Wells Fargo's Strategic Execution and Operations (SEO) Group is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Business Intelligence Consultant to join the Action Plan Implementation Platform (APIP) Enablement Team as a Business Intelligence (BI) Lead. This BI Lead will focus on supporting and enhancing existing business intelligence solutions as well as evolving these solutions into a cohesive, standardized suite for driving effective regulatory program management execution and governance activities. This BI Lead will partner closely with the APIP Enablement Product Owners and Capability Leads to determine a holistic product strategy and executable plan to evolve the APIP business tool suite into a cohesive, scalable product. This individual will bring extensive data visualization and business intelligence experience leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to innovate and provide clear, consistent, and useful insights. They will establish objectives and key results in partnership with our global team to increase the impact and effectiveness of the BI solutions provided. The BI Lead will drive accountability and delivery of data visualization and BI solutions partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders. They will create new business intelligence reports and dashboards along with supporting existing ones as well as providing guidance to less experienced BI consultants. This individual is expected to bring strong analytics, data, business intelligence, problem solving, innovation and leadership skills along with a team orientation. This role will have a significant impact on the usability, business value and effectiveness delivered by the APIP Enablement Team and SEO Teams along with supporting the company's risk management objectives.

A successful BI Lead will be responsible for the following representative tasks:
  • Providing vision, direction, and expertise for the APIP Business Tool suite especially in data visualization and business intelligence arenas
  • Planning, guiding and developing business intelligence deliverables that enable clear, consistent, and useful delivery of insights in a sustainable manner
  • Developing specific, customized reports, ad hoc analyses and/or data visualizations using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, and other tools as appropriate. Ability to leverage SQL is preferred, but not required.
  • Apply knowledge of business, governance standards, users, and/or products/services to synthesize data to 'form a story' creating executive reporting and presentations
  • Collaborating and consulting with peers, colleagues and Product Owners to achieve goals related to assessing business needs and producing actionable insights and trends leveraging data visualization and business intelligence
  • Establishing standards and best practices along with innovating data reporting techniques, routines and projects
  • Making decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional areas, governance standards, and products along with facilitating decision making
  • Resolving issues and seeking alternative solutions while delivering expected results
  • Executing controls as required to mitigate risk.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of business intelligence and data visualization experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years hands-on experience creating dashboards and reporting leveraging Microsoft Power Platform Tools, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform including Dataverse with relevant Microsoft certifications
  • Experience in business analytics, agile development methodologies, developing business tools and products.
  • Should span the spectrum of strategic thinking, execution, and supporting business reporting needs.
  • Ability to communicate insights and findings effectively, both in writing and verbally, to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret data and handle complex scenarios
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks along with work efforts simultaneously
  • Comfortability working under pressure or strict deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Passion for learning and personal growth, specifically when it comes to product development
  • Self-starter with high degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
Job Expectations:
