Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Be the main driver for Data Center sales promotion related activities, creating a healthy pipeline of opportunities for Danfoss. Develops customer relationships and acts as primary field sales representative for Danfoss, driving growth in the vertical. Leads coordination for specified direct Data Center activities across Danfoss business segments, if required by sales management Manages and develops HVAC/R Data Center business at specified accounts utilizing Danfoss’ value selling sales processes and programs. Deeply understands customer’s structure, products and decision-making processes and creates a rapport within all levels of the customers. Ensures that Danfoss provides a “Unique Customer Experience” by orchestrating all Danfoss relations and contacts to the customer. Possesses a level of competence necessary to comprehend and communicate technical and commercial aspects of the complete Danfoss’ products/solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or relevant years of industry experience. 3 to 5 years of experience in the Data Center market in the US. Experience working with Customer Relationship Management and sales management systems. Knowledgeable in dealing with all levels of customer organizations in a technical product environment. Self-motivated, possessing a high energy level and a desire to achieve goals beyond what is required. Business acumen around sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning. Ability to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, resolution, or sales with customers. Ability to utilize sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutions. Strong process discipline, ability to align planning objectives with a pipeline development process to grow and develop market revenue. Ability to work in a cross culture, with diverse nationalities in a matrix communications environment. Data Center market knowledge and existing relationships are a must. Able to work on matrix organizations. Travel requirement 70% primarily in the US with some internationally as required.
