  • Conduct security patrols
  • Enforce security procedures, protecting property from theft, fire or accidents
  • Respond to calls for assistance, write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations.
  • Provide assistance to customers, residents, employees and visitors in accordance to company procedures.
  • Work is performed inside and outside a property or installation, with exposure to inclement weather conditions and unpredictable crisis situations.
  • May require some physical activities as lifting, kneeling.

Qualifications:

  • High Scholl Diploma, be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be a citizen or a legal resident alien.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices and capacity to work in varied places and locations.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both oral and in writing with staff, company, the public.
  • Must understand and follow standard operating procedures, to perform duties in a professional manner, to write incident reports and  make log entries.
  • Must investigate incidents and make independent good judgment decisions within proper policy or procedure.
  • Maintain the NYS security license unexpired.
