THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Event Services Supervisor to support our clients in the execution of their event, by managing details of assigned events, including, preparation of install timelines, working with internal teams and preferred vendors to oversee services and entertainment, manage onsite event installation, and seeing events through completion to meet and exceed client expectations.

THE STARTING RATE:

$23/Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Partner with an Account Manager to understand the client’s overall event needs, vision, and expectations of an event as assigned Anticipate and problem solve for installation issues and/or delays in conjunction with management to meet deadlines Secure, process purchase orders, and supervise onsite any outside services, rental items, entertainment, and/or photography Prepare detailed timeline and overall installation plan for assigned events Communicate professionally the project status and timeline of events with clients, internal departments, property personnel, and vendors Supervise overall installation of events; oversee crew leads and talent Ensure a safe onsite working environment Oversee rental load-in/out and setup/breakdown; monitor rentals for damages and coordinate return shipments Develop a clear knowledge of hotels/venues, dock/security procedures and ballroom specs. Create a SHOW Service work environment promoting creativity, collaboration, teamwork, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction Actively promote MREP within the company and the events industry

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in events or hospitality industry, or equivalent experience. General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong written and oral communication abilities. Effective time management and organizational skills.
