Your Position
Key Purpose:
As the Americas Head of Commercial Sales, the key purpose is to ensure top line revenue growth within the region. You will contribute to the development of the regional commercial strategy in line with the overarching General Industries Business Unit strategy. The role will deliver growth within all work streams and segments and hold the responsibility of developing the commercial operations capabilities within the region.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Overall responsibility for defining, developing and delivering the Datwyler General Industry top line revenue in the region Develop and execute the sales strategy in line with the overall General Industries strategy, collaborating with the marketing and product/category functions Define the key targets and sales ambitions for all sales work streams (solutions, direct, channel) in close cooperation with the site directors, marketing, product management and the Head of the General Industries BU Develop and then ensure that the Datwyler General Industry commercial processes and tools are efficiently implemented within the region Identify and execute strategic commercial initiatives with the purpose of driving the top line and position Datwyler as the preferred sealing solutions provider within the region Contribute in key solution sales processes and prioritize customer engagement activities Build, lead, develop and motivate the Americas sales team and install the right capabilities Act as the voice of the customer within the organisation, and work with peers to develop a best in class customer experience

Experience and Traits
Minimum 15 years in commercial and sales operations leadership roles Experience in driving change management Track record of delivering substantial growth and improvements in margins Proven track record in converting business solution bids through to wins through creative and innovative thinking and based on a solid analysis of customer needs Dominant traits include self confident approach, analytical mindset and a high level of persistency Commercial traits include high work capacity, contract negotiation skills, high level of communication skills and empathy
