Responsibilities

Assists the pharmacist(s) on duty as their primary responsibility; performing these duties as priority. Fills orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Develops knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures and complies with them. Assists in toting area for medication deliveries as necessary. Any and all duties as assigned by pharmacists or managers.

Working Hours:

This position would be 30-40 hours per week, with the range being somewhere between 7am and 8pm M-F, 7am-4pm on Saturday, 8am-1pm on Sunday

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Knowledge of business English, spelling and commercial arithmetic with ability to write in a clear and legible manner. Excellent professional phone and customer service skills. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions. General computer knowledge including Windows applications. Ability to learn abbreviations, brand and generic comparisons for interpreting prescriptions and for filling. Ability to work in a flexible schedule as 24/7/365 operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
