Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Central Processing background and experience is required
  • Central Processing Technologist Certification is preferred
  • Must be flexible with hours
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills - the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds
