Sales Planning Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:

The Sales Planning Coordinator is responsible for multi-year planning activities including contract management and sales planning routines for bulk and bag sales. Manages daily activities of the operational sales support function and oversees workflow of all business processing including preparation of reports, charts, and other statistics to support the supply chain department. S/He will have an extensive knowledge and creation of department processes and work flow efficiencies. The Sales Planning Coordinator interacts closely with cross-functional partners including, but not limited to sales, operations, procurement, finance, and quality. S/HE will partner with all levels of the organization in order to support the S&OP team strategically and tactically. S/HE plays a key role in tying together forecast, market trends and marketing plans to help MENA/MEX/MEC sales achieve annual Metric Tons (Malting Volume) and EBIDTA objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Other duties may be assigned.

Manages customer contracts and ensures company is meeting the minimum requirements. Analyzes customer contract status and open balance reports. Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to Malteurop leadership team and other functions within the organization. Engage with Sales and Customer Service to evaluate forecasts vs. actual sales (volume, trends, and mix) for bulk and bags. Maintains Shipment Forecast file until Anaplan is fully implemented. After implementation is able to create a report using new system. Implement Sales effectiveness measurement using a variety of metrics; Creation of the monthly scorecards to track sales performance, forecast accuracy measurement. Verifies data integrity from Salesforce and SAP to ensure Anaplan data is clean and accurate. Managing bulk Transload S&D reports daily to ensure safety stock levels are maintained. Managing bag DC inventory. Communicating production needs to Winona bagging line and scheduling truckloads with our 3PL. Stewards the Sales Planning process, connecting Sales, Finance, and Operations; manages the long term and short-term sales planning calendar – windows of activity with key deadlines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Supply Chain or related field. 2+ yrs of business experience in planning. SAP experience a plus however experience using an ERP system is required. CRM experience; Salesforce.com preferred. Sales Analytics experience; internal sales planning experience preferred. Proficiently conduct business and data analyses with data driven. recommendations for improvements and advancements. Develop and leverage deep customer knowledge and insights: builds trust and strong relationships with customers. Creates a positive customer experience that sets MENA/MEX/MEC apart from our competitors, shares customer knowledge and insights within. Demonstrated track record of identifying and implementing process improvements. Understands customer and sales planning cycle keeping in mind all key stakeholders. Excellent communication able to achieve agreement across all levels and functions. Proficient computer skills (Outlook and MS Office) and comfortable learning new software supporting sales. Travel:
